"5 times yet only 1 was good."
MGO1 on the PS2 was amazing.
MGO2 on PS3 was even better.
I am so worried about MGO3. It just looks so different. I hope it all balances out well. I noticed from the gameplay shown so far that the one hit CQC knockout from the FOB's is in there. 1 hit shield bash KO's too. And headshots seem less important. These things worry me...
What? No it is not. Episode 51? Chapter 3?
I share your disappointment.
Makes as much sense as having a mecha metal gear rex 20 years before the original rex.
Yeah, that intro was pretty awesome!
Running away with Huey was not a boss fight. And Eli was a boss fight? What? Oh and you fight him twice, so that will raise your count even higher!
I bet you count Decoy Octopus from MGS1 as a boss fight too. /s
MGS1, 2, 3, and 4 all had amazing and diverse boss fights that will live on in our memories forever. MGSV had...?
I guarantee that in the years to come, lists of the best MGS fights wont even include a single one from TPP.
That was a boss fight?
Yeah both of 'em. I mean seriously, there was the man on fire, Sahelanthrowatchamacallit Gear and...? Quiet? Was that supposed to be a boss fight?
So 2, maybe 3 boss fights? I can't even think of a MGS where there was less than 5 amazing boss fights. Until now...
That line of reasoning is bullshit.
"You have no right to complain so just shut up and take it." <--That's you. That's what you sound like.
So next time you go eat at a fancy restaurant and the waiter brings out a turd sandwich and diet coke instead of your filet mignon and Chateau Margaux, just "get over this and move on." The chef created the dish and can do whatever he wants with it.
lol, no.
That ending made the game feel like it might as well have been a dream sequence.
So many tools to do whatever I want? Ok I'll load up with grenade launchers and D-Walker instead of tranquilizers and just kill everyone. Oh wait, there's an S++ I need for my R&D team, and a A++ for my medical staff, and a S+ for my combat unit.
Now I have to capture them all by CQC and kill the low levels while making sure not to hit my future staffers. Great way to mix it up! /s
I mean, what do you do out there that is soooo different than the...
@Grap
I agree with you completely.
I actually quite enjoyed this game. And recommend it to anyone waiting for Mirrors Edge 2. It isn't as in-depth of a platformer, but it'll fill the void.
Oh your god, I am so worried about MGO3. I hope it can bring the magic of MGO2 back in a new and exiting way. That class system scares me! And if the 1 hit CQC KO's from FOB's are in there I will lose my shit!
*crosses fingers*
*prays to Cthulhu*
*sacrifices goat*
Take of your pants and your panties!
I'm Mr. Buldops.
**SPOILERS AND SHIT**
And just WTF was the real BB doing for those 9 years he was watching over fake BB in the hospital? Just chillin in the cafeteria? Did he keep the bandages on the whole time?
If he needed a decoy, why not use someone 9 years ago that wasn't in a coma? Why stay in the hospital and help the person everyone is after, putting Real BB in the line of fire between Fake BB and the people trying to kill Real BB, defeating the purpose of having...
Bloodborne's problem was it's lack of story? Have you ever played a souls game, dude? And the lack of an OST? What? A quick google will prove you wrong.
TW3 had some damn fine gameplay. Only game besides Bloodborne that I immediately started playing again right after I beat it this gen.
Or bionic Kaz with the Jehuty arm and a rocket leg. lol
